With 16 years finance experience Ron’s career has spanned 4 states focusing on small through to Corporate Business.

A successful property development financier with Esanda Finance, Ron made the move into the specialized leasing and finance arena in 1996. Throughout this time focusing on motor vehicles, truck and earthmoving equipment finance.

Late 1998 Ron and his family moved to Melbourne to take up a position with Esanda Fleet Partners, a specialist Fleet Leasing and Management company. Here he looked after their largest customers in the leasing and management of mining and passenger vehicles, specialist application trucks and forklifts.

Ron steadily progressed through the ranks and by the time “he pulled stumps” to come home he was a senior manager within the business accountable for the management team looking after client services in Victoria, Tasmania, and sales and customer service in South Australia.

A 2 year stint with Holden Leasing was followed by a role in RAMS Home Loans, heading up WA, SA and NT during which his responsibilities included business coaching the recently created Franchises, as well as training loan writers and running the loan approval and processing centers. During this period he was also caretaker for the Qld operation.

A long way from the dusty mining town he grew up in, Ron is proudest of the fact he has stayed married for 16 years, and had 2 beautiful girls- all whilst progressing through his Bachelor of Business and forging a successful career in finance. He is a passionate body-boarder, kite surfer, and mountain bike rider. Having seen the Docker’s first win live at the MCG he feels that this was his reward for stalwartly turning up to every Melbourne based Freo game over the “lean years.”

Ron formed Boost concepts, a Fleet Leasing and Management consultancy business in February 2005, and in May 2005 joined Crediflex as a partner.
